Alumni Rising Star Award

SUNY College of Optometry's Alumni Rising Star Award recognizes a recent graduate who has shown exceptional promise and dedication to the field of optometry, made significant contributions to the profession early in their career, and demonstrates leadership, innovation, and commitment to advancing eye care through education, research, and/or patient care.

Nominees for this award are individuals who have graduated within the past 10 years and stand out for their creativity, involvement in professional organizations, and efforts to promote global healthcare equity.

All submissions must be received by May 18th

Awards will be presented at SUNY Optometry's Alumni Awards Presentation on October 24th, immediately before Reunion.

Please Note: Alumni Board members cannot be considered for nomination while currently serving on the Board. Self nominations are accepted.
